Allan Ashby is a teacher, education consultant, and dynamic classroom leader.
Allan encourages students to do their best by focusing on the strengths they bring to a task. He shows students that they can succeed and demonstrates how this can be done by example.
Allan is a long-standing advocate for at-risk, underachieving, and exceptional students from kindergarten to grade 12.
Allan specializes in working with children who find learning difficult. He shows parents and teachers how they can be more effective in their role supporting children who are, for some reason, not performing as well as they should be in school.
Allan specializes in working with exceptional children, their parents, and special education teachers in these roles:
- Tutoring students in all subject areas
- Advocating for parents between home and school
- Supporting special needs programs
- Advising on Next Step programming
- Presenting workshops to large and small groups
As an advisor, Allan brings a wealth of experience to the job in his roles as a classroom teacher, special needs educator, program facilitator and administrator in the Ontario Public School system.
